1. By Bus

From Delhi to Dehradun: ~250 km | 6–8 hours Regular Volvo and government buses (UTC/ISBT) are available from Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Dehradun. From Chandigarh to Dehradun: ~170 km | 5–6 hours You can also find buses from Sector 43 ISBT in Chandigarh.

We strongly recommend choosing government buses over private ones, as they are more reliable and punctual.

2. By Train

Dehradun Railway Station is well-connected with major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, and others. Popular trains: Nanda Devi Express, Dehradun Express, Shatabdi Express

If traveling by train, plan to arrive

a day early to avoid delays and freshen up before the trek.

3. By Air

Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) is the nearest airport (25 km from Rishikesh and 30 km from Dehradun city). Connected flights are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, etc.

We advise flyers to arrive a day in advance to accommodate any delays or cancellations.
